This land is full of whispers and magic. It’s a place where stories get written, and artist wake up to the paintings inside of them. That’s why we’re here – to gently tease it out of us, to remember what we already carry, and how simple it is to create beauty when we are in a circle of like minded souls.

We will spend two days, 9:30 – 4:30 each day, writing and reading aloud, stretching our bodies and walking under the trees. A beautiful lunch is included both days.

Every story is a mosaic of moments. Our lives are filled with these moments – slices of time when a story comes alive. They can be captured effortlessly. All we need to do is take a moment to see what’s in front of us, and let it touch us. That’s how e transform our lives into works of art.

Friends, we invite you to join us in capturing the chaotic, crackling beauty of Nepal this coming fall. During our 10-day exploration of Kathmandu and environs we will use Wild Writing techniques to write intimate sketches of our experiences amid the beauty and energy of this Himalayan realm.

Let’s get lost on the cobblestone streets, listen for the chime of the church bells, follow our noses to the best tacos in town, and pull out our cameras to capture the magic hour light. We’ll write in the morning, make art and take pictures, and follow the mariachi music into the streets at night.

This is a spirit place to us. We have both been coming here for decades, and we continue to wake up to our own vibrant creativity when we are here.
